The Lynmouth Flood Memorial
Hall



The Memorial Hall next to the Harbour in Lynmouth was built in memory of the 1952 Flood Disaster. This now houses an exhibition of the Flood Disaster including a model of Lynmouth before the flood, on the upper floor.



On the lower floor you will find an exhibition of the re-enactment of the Overland Launch. This Heroic fete on January 12th -13th 1899 pulling the lifeboat over the moors to Porlock aided only by Horses and Crew.
